Work Placement 6 (6/3/2020)

We have a discussion with IKII partners on the projects we are going to do for the next few weeks.
They felt we took too much time of their expectation to finish the tasks, which did not fully show our
ability too. Hence, they propose with a new planning, hoping we can do something that is meaningful
and benefits us in the work placement. However, the task acceptance is upon our decision, whether to
take the new project or remain the same previous tasks. 

They mentioned that they are going to launch their business in Taiwan, which they need artistic content
for their social media like Instagram and some artistic merchandise. Therefore, they have an idea on
the new task, which is to create an illustration poster related to Taiwan. It can be created based on our
own artstyle and ideas. Also, this task will be a collaboration project within our school and them. The
artwork will all be credited to us. Between continuing the video shooting and the illustration task, we
either choose one to make sure everything can be done within the timeline. If we choose to take the
illustration as the task, the videos will be passed to their team to continue shooting or editing. However,
if we choose to continue the shooting, we must finish it within a few days. 

After a discussion with the lecturer, we preferred the illustration task as it was credited to us. Besides,
we think it is a better project to show what we are good at and our personal artstyle. It will also be
beneficial to us by gaining our exposure on social media. In conclusion, we have chosen to take the
illustration task and will be having a meeting soon to discuss our illustration ideas.
